Arrival Bhubaneswar

Meet and greet on arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway station and transfer to hotel. After fresh-up visit to the ancient temples like Lingaraj-the biggest temple in Bhubaneswar, Mukteswar, Rajarani & 64 Yogini temple (Yogini sculpture having 64 different hair style & one of the four Yogini temple in India). Evening free for independent activities. Overnight stay at Bhubaneshwar.
Note:
1. Lingaraj temple remain open from 05.00 to 21.00hrs and closed for 01hr between 11.00 to 13.00hrs. Devotees can go in to the garbhagriha (sanctum sanctorum) between 06.00 to 08.00hrs & 13.00 to 16.00hrs.
2. Non-Hindu are not allowed in to the Lingaraj temple. They can see from the specific platform.

Bhubaneswar-Konark-Puri (120 kms/2.5 hrs)

Excursion trip to Chilika (55 kms/ 1.25 hrs one way)

Post breakfast excursion trip to Satapada (One end of Chilika Lagoon). Enjoy the motor boat ride in the largest brakish water lagoon of Asia and explore the virgin beach, Rajhans Island (drive pass), rare Irrawaddy dolphins, local birds etc. On way back to Puri visit Raghurajpur/Nayakpatna artisan village. Later visit the Niladri beach & Blue flag beach. Overnight stay at Puri.

Puri-Chilika-Gopalpur (225 kms/4.5 hrs)

After early breakfast proceed to Gopalpur, en-route visit through Mangalajodi-the bird’s Paradise of Asia (another end of chilika lagoon). Experience the country boat ride and explore bird sighting (local & migratory) in a very close by. (Winter is the best time to visit mangalajodi) Or visit Kalijai temple and Kalijai Island from Barkul end of Chilika lake. On arrival check-in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Gopalpur.

Excursion trip to Chandragiri (195 kms/5 hrs)

Post breakfast excursion trip to Chandragiri- a Tibetan refugee colony known as mini-Tibet. The Jirang monastery here is one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in southeast Asia. En-route visit through Taptapani hot sulphur water stream. On way back to Gopalpur visit Padmanavpur cotton weaving village. Evening free for independent activities. Overnight stay at Gopalpur.

Gopalpur-Bhubaneswar (200 kms/3.5 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Bhubaneswar. On arrival, visit Khandagiri & Udayagiri Jain Caves and Jain temple, Tribal Museum & Kala Bhoomi-a craft museum (both close on Monday & govt. holidays). Later you may go to the local market for shopping. Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.

1. Be aware of Monkeys at Khandagiri & Udaigiri. Keep your wallet & bag carefully. Udaigiri remain open from 08.00hrs to 17.00hrs.

Bhubaneswar departure

Post breakfast visit to Nandankanan Zoological Park-popular for white tigers (close on Monday). In-time transfer to Airport/railway station for onwards journey with a promise to yourself to celebrate all your future holidays only with Journey Deals.
